Sanford Crane, Manager

At 14, Sanford Crane snuck out of the house to buy his first horse. Before long, he was riding games and shooting off the horse's back.

By his 20s, Sanford was showing quarter horses in Western Pleasure and Trail Class. Horsemanship had become a way of life and marked the beginning of his career as a self-taught owner and trainer of horses. In addition to training, Sanford is the Manager of Joli Cheval.

A recent graduate of the Dennis Reis Horsemanship Program in Northern California, Sanford completed twelve levels of achievement in universal horsemanship.

Sanford is able to gain trust and correct behavioral issues with persistent patience and by observing the nuanced body language of his equine clients. The results have been remarkable. For the starting of young horses or behavioral issues, Sanford is available for consultation and training.

Teresa brings 19 years of management experience to the office. Organizing the office along with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and payroll are a few of the pleasures in Teresa's life. Being able to work around horses is another.

A native of Charlotte, Teresa moved to Mint Hill in 1989 where she and her husband have raised their two sons. Being a horse lover herself, she has enjoyed many years of riding in and around the Mint Hill area, including the well-manicured trails and arenas of Joli Cheval.
